KART’s particular part
KART has participated in the competitions 4 times, made 5 machines. We are particular about “aluminum space frame” consistently. It had been commented that it has low reliability from difficult weld and fatigue character, and cost. But we’re trying for design that can bring out aluminum all superiority,” light weight”. And, there’s another special feature. That is “dry carbon”. KART has used carbon fairing from the 2nd machine. The beauty has become a synonym for KART. We aim for the top of podium with more evolved “The machine of KART”.

◆ YJ-R00(2004)Concept: run turn stopThis is a legend of KART. We tide over “hellish one month” by great team work. Our first machine completed the race.

◆ YJ-R01(2005)Concept: AAA ~triple A for racing~This machine is finished on 31st May 2005! However it has fatal error, then we made YJ-R02 from there. This is the shortest life. Whole running distance is less than 10km.

◆ YJ-R02(2005)Concept: AAA ~triple A for racing~Frame concept is “the opposite to YJ-R01 anyway”.YJ-R02 manages to have parts layout miraculously, and it become compact and low center of gravity. This is our first racing car.

◆ YJ-R03(2006)Concept: pursuit of functional beautyYJ-R03 is not the machine “for making”, but “for racing”. Troubles in each parts disturb good result, but its design leads to next evolve.

◆ YJ-R05(2007)Concept: self createThis is the 5th YJ series. Though frame has drastic review, this machine succeeds in straight-ahead evolution from former model. Light upright achieves drastic improvement of motion performance.

◆ YJ-R06(2008)Concept: SMARTThis machine aims straight-ahead evolution. We reduce unnecessary things strictly, then YJ-R06 became the lightest machine in our history. Fairing is lacquer.

Next challenge
Our aim is to make better machine steadily every year. Thus, though there may be not sudden progress, we will advance step by step.
